QUICK CAST® 82AC received
level one qualification for use in European Alcan / Pechiney facilities.
QUICK CAST 82AC has been installed successfully at Alcan facilities in the
United States for years, but qualification was just achieved in Europe due
to different testing procedures. QUICK CAST 82AC was tested using Alcan
Voreppe TR07-04 which included a crucible test and a dynamic test. It
received ‘good’ ratings in each of these tests and is now qualified
for use.
